Finally

What's this? An American taekwondo teacher and school owner who doesn't insist on the art being old as f***? Not 2000 years old? Not even 1000? Dude, you have my respect!

Story:
Charlotte, North Carolina -- Tae kwon do, Wilson explained, is not an ancient art, but rather one that was developed in the 1950s in Korea as a martial art. While it has its roots in various other Asian martial arts, this manifestation is relatively safe and easy to learn.

Tae means foot, kwon means hand and do means art. It is, according to Wilson, the most widely practiced martial art in the world.
