Carshalton judo expert Kerry Ford heads to Poland later this month in fine form after claiming a silver medal in the Dutch Cup tournament in Rotterdam last week.
The 16-year-old high school student lost out to Holland's number one in the final of the 63kg division and is looking to repeat the feat or go one beter at the Cadets A tournament in Szczyrk on May 26.
