Story:
UK -- Police seized a cache of medieval-style weapons from a Carlisle bedsit after a man brandished a Chinese sword in the city center.
Aglionby Street was brought to a standstill at teatime, after witnesses reported a man aggressively waving a four-and-a-half foot long sword at someone in the street.
He was taken to the city's police station, where he was given a police caution and released.
A spokesperson for the force said: "The case was investigated and when all the facts were considered, this was deemed to be the most appropriate course of action. He is a collector. He has agreed to let us dispose of the weapons. We do not think it is appropriate for this person to have them in his home."
