Home invasion

Canada -- Two home invaders got more than they bargained for when they were confronted by a homeowner trained in martial arts.

The homeowner and his cousin arrived at the home in Toronto shortly before midnight Sunday and found two robbers wearing balaclavas and armed with a pistol and a screwdriver, in the bedroom.

The thugs demanded cash, and one was lured from the home with the promise that there was $1,000 in a vehicle. Outside, the martial arts expert elbowed the gunman, knocking his weapon to the ground.

When the other intruder heard his crony shout for help, he rushed outside and picked up the gun and the two started to run away.
