Judo politics?

The final round of the Judo European Club Championship will not be held in Tbilisi, the Georgian Judo Federation informed yesterday. The European Judo Union (EJU) sited the recent escalation of the political turmoil between Georgia and Russia and moved the tournament to Budapest, Hungary.

"This decision is final and it won't be altered. The members of the board have unanimously voted for it", the Judo European Federation president Marius Viser of Romania told the Georgian journalists.

The Georgian Judo Federation believes that Russia is behind the controversial decision.
