I would like to express my disgust on the way the judge handled this case. So obviously against martial arts and zero understanding of the risks involved.
if my hockey coach fires a puck during practice and it bounces funny and shatters my checkbone... is this his fault or a part of the game? ITS PART OF THE GAME! we all take risks every day, we all make decisions which risks to take. This student knew there was the chance to be injured when deicing to train in Shoot Fighting.
A SAD day for martial arts a sad day for Canadian courts. I hope the appeal goes quickly and justice is served.

Hi Jason - thanks for your comment!

And I absolutely tend to agree with you.
I would also like to express my concern if you guys are beginning to see "The American way of handling things" (something I tend to call 'Sue-do', Sue-Fu or Sue-jutsu :)

Again thanks for stopping by, and best of luck to you.
