Malaysia -- The 38-year-old president of a local martial arts association was recently arrested in connection with trading licence fraud, according to news.asiaone.com.
The man was arrested at an International wing chun festival and championship at a large shopping center outside Kuala Lumpur.
The man is alleged to have duped several people of a sum equivalent of US $30,000 in 2005. His victims claimed in their reports that the man could get them trading licenses from City Hall.
In 2005, the victims contacted authorities after the man went missing soon after they had paid him a 'deposit' for the trading licences, according to a police spokesperson.
