No matter how cruel and senseless this is, it may be pretty far-fetched to call it a "martial arts- style attack" simply because the attacker uses a back fist.

UK -- A man was today in a critical condition after being found unconscious on a Leeds street following a vicious martial arts- style attack.
The attacker launched an unprovoked attack on 20-year-old victim Peter Daniels who had just left a Leeds nightspot.
He is said to be in a coma and in a critical condition at Leeds General Infirmary where his family are keeping a bedside vigil.
