Suspension Cut in Half

California -- A loquacious MMA fighter who came very close to beating Anderson Silva in August, has had his drug suspension reduced from one year to six months by the California State Athletic Commission, according to newsday.com.

Chael Sonnen tested positive for elevated testosterone levels prior to his title shot at UFC 117, and he was suspended for one year by the CSAC in September.
