Michigan -- A 53-year-old former police officer and children's karate instructor is serving a 20- to 40-year jail sentence, according to freep.com.
He was found guilty in 1993 of raping his then 12-year-old stepdaughter over a two years period.
A judge has now granted a prosecutor's request to halt and appeal the man's parole. The prosecutor said the man still blames the victim for his actions, something which is causing concern that he could re-offend.
