New York -- A 37-year-old Ronkonkoma karate instructor was arrested Thursday and charged with sexually abusing a 13-year-old male student, according to newsday.com.
The Karate Academy owner was arrested at his home by detectives. The detectives were acting on the complaint of the alleged victim, who said he was taken in July to the instructor's home in Ronkonkoma, where he was sexually molested.
The 13-year-old describes himself as one of the karate instructor's "cool group," the ones allowed to hang out in the Karate Academy office and teach younger students.
