Florida -- Young Soo Do began every tae kwon do class he taught with the mantra posted on the wall of his North Miami studio: For Myself. For My School. For My Country.
That is exactly the way the master instructor lived his life, say those who knew him.
Do, 62, who taught more than 7,000 students in his 30 years of owning Young Tae Kwon Do, died Monday from gunshot wounds. He was shot Saturday as he stood in the back of his studio, watching as his car was getting washed.
