Japan -- The father of a 16-year-old high school student in Kumamoto is seeking criminal charges against a teacher and two officials at the school after his son fell unconscious the day after being forced to run wind sprints as a part of karate practice despite having suffered a concussion shortly beforehand.
The boy, who is a freshman at the private Kaishin High School, has since been hospitalized because of serious after effects from an acute subdural hematoma.
