A lethal kick from a fiancee skilled in karate killed a 47-year-old Florence man last week, police say, and not a drug overdose as they first suspected.
The 36-year-old fiancee admitted they had recently had a couple of altercations and that she knows karate. The woman said had gotten into an altercation and she kicked him in the stomach.
An autopsy showed wounds to the man's abdomen were so severe they clearly caused his death.
